Dr. Hajjakolo Abba Aja (Ph.D)
Dr, Hajjakolo is a Registered Animal Scientist and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Animal Science. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in General Agriculture in University of Maiduguri, with specialization in Animal Science, a Master of Science in Animal Breeding and Genetics, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Animal Breeding and Genetics in the same institution, where she specialized in Molecular Genetics. She also obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Education in Kashim Ibrahim College of Education, Maiduguri, and a Diploma in Computer Application in Stepro Computer Institute, Maiduguri. She attended many seminars, conferences and training workshop in the field of animal science, and has more than 10 research publications.
Dr, was a chief lecturer at Mohamet Lawan College of Agriculture, Maiduguri and an Animal Husbandry Specialist with the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project. She was posted to Borno Livestock Management Agency in October, 2024 as a director of livestock services.
Dr. Hajjakolo is married with children.
